There are a number of issues central to the formation of any math circle. These include identifying the intended audience, selecting meeting times and dates, recruiting speakers, and publicizing the circle, to mention a few of the items covered in the previous chapter. However, several other components fundamental to math circle operation must also be taken into account. The topics discussed below are grouped together because they all function to support the operation of a math circle. These considerations include developing an administrative team, a web site, and a budget.
